Police: Asheville Retirement Center employee charged

ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Asheville Police charged an employee of Deerfield Retirement Center with five counts of felony breaking and entering and larceny Friday.

Police said 58-year-old Judy McCurry's charges stem from a long term investigation into missing jewelry from the residents at the retirement center.

Police said McCurry was released from the Buncombe County Detention Center after posting a $12,500 bond.
