SALUDA, NC (FOX Carolina) -
Officials in western North Carolina said firefighters battled a blaze at Camp Bob Hardin in Saluda on Monday night.
Fire units from Saluda, Tryon, Columbus and Blue Ridge were called in to fight the fire.
Officials said there was no one staying at the camp when the fire started.
Firefighters said high winds made fighting the fire difficult, but not impossible.
A downed power line caused the blaze, firefighters said.
