A pregnant woman was taken to the hospital after she was attacked by her boyfriend, deputies said.
The woman called Spartanburg County deputies after she said Marcus Smith, 26, of Moore beat her up, punching her in the face, choking her and hitting her in the stomach, according to a sheriff's office report
The report said Smith was upset because he thought she cheated on him and said he would "show" her.
Deputies said Smith's girlfriend had marks on her, was bruised and one of her eyes was swollen shut. They said they sent her to the hospital because she was 36 weeks pregnant.
Smith was arrested on Tuesday and charged with aggravated criminal domestic violence and violation of order of protection. He was being held at the county jail on bond.
