Balloons Over Anderson takes flight

ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The skies over Anderson will be filled with 25 beautiful hot air balloons this weekend.

Balloons Over Anderson offers five scheduled flights throughout the weekend, weather permitting.

SLIDESHOW: Balloons take flight in Anderson

Guests can book a hot air balloon flight in advance or during the festival, take a tethered balloon ride, watch the live entertainment planned and have lunch and dinner from various food vendors in attendance.

The event starts Friday at 2 p.m. and continues throughout the weekend. Balloons Over Anderson takes place at the Anderson County Civic Center. It is free to attend and park.
