Following the robbery of a Spartanburg County convenience store when the clerk was hit in the head with a suspect's gun, deputies have released the names of the two suspects.
Spartanburg County deputies said Friday that their investigation identified Justin Dawkins, 25, of Gaffney, and Emmanuel Hutchinson, 31, of Spartanburg, as the two suspects who wore Halloween masks during the robbery of the Lil' Cricket at 2796 Southport Rd. on Oct. 28.
Deputies said the two men also robbed the Lil' Cricket at 11900 Hwy. 56 in Cross Anchor on Oct. 30. Deputies have issued warrants for two counts of armed robbery and two counts possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime for each man.
Investigators said Hutchinson also has an outstanding warrant with Spartanburg police for assault and battery that has been active since March. Deputies said the photo for Hutchinson is from 2006 and his appearance may be different.
Both individuals are considered suspects in other robberies and home invasions in Spartanburg County along with similar incidents in Laurens County that the Laurens County Sheriff's Office is actively investigating, deputies said.
Investigators said they should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with any information about the crimes or their whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
