Driver, 21, killed in single-car Greenville Co. crash

Troopers investigate a fatal crash along Jug Factory Road in Greenville Co. (Nov. 5, 2012/FOX Carolina)

GREER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Highway Patrol is investigating an early-morning wreck that killed a 21-year-old man in Greenville County.

Greenville County Coroner Kent Dill said the driver crashed along Jug Factory Road after hanging out with friends in downtown Greenville about 12:30 p.m.

Dill said the victim somehow lost control of the car and was ejected. He said the driver was not wearing a seatbelt.

The coroner identified the driver as Stephen Kottke of Greer. Dill said he had moved to the Upstate from New Hampshire in August.
