Drizzle Possible: Tonight through early Wednesday will hold the possibility of light rain or drizzle at times. A cool, northeast wind will continue funneling in from North Carolina and Virginia. This surface wind will collide with a warmer, mid-level flow from the west and southwest. This collision of warm and cool will keep our sky cloudy through most of Wednesday (if not all day).
Wednesday Chill: Temperatures will start in the low-middle 30s for Western NC and middle-upper 30s in Upstate/NE Georgia towns. Due to the cloudy sky and chilly northeast wind, temperatures aren't going to warm much during the day. Highs by mid-afternoon will reach the 51°-55° for Upstate towns with a 43°-49° range in Western North Carolina.
Sunshine Coming Back: By Thursday and Friday, the sun will make it back without any clouds in the way. With the added sun, temperatures will climb back into the 60s for Upstate areas and a range of upper 50s to low 60s in the Western North Carolina. Friday will be very comfortable during the afternoon as highs make into the 60s area-wide.
