ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -
Asheville firefighters said a man was found dead inside a burning home Wednesday morning.
The fire happened about 7 a.m. at 25 Mountain View Rd.
Firefighters said they arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the home. They said the fire was quickly extinguished, but a search of the home revealed a man's body in the bathroom.
The cause of the fire was not immediately released, but firefighters said the Asheville-Buncombe Arson Task Force is investigating the blaze.
The identity of the man was not immediately released.
