ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies said they are looking for two unknown men who assaulted and robbed an elderly Belton man.

Anderson County deputies said they were called to a home on Hillcrest Circle on Saturday after the 84-year-old man was attacked outside of his home.

The victim told deputies he was unloading groceries from his car when a gray Chevrolet pickup truck backed into his driveway, then the a man approached him about doing some electrical work.

The man distracted the victim, then another man hit him from behind, took his wallet after he fell to the ground, deputies said.

The victim told deputies he did not see the second subject, but felt like he was hit by a fist. The incident report said he suffered minor bruising on his head.

The first subject was wearing a tan ball cap, the victim told deputies. He is the man deputies have released a sketch of.

Investigators ask anyone with information about this person of interest in the sketch or the strong armed robbery, to contact them at the Anderson County Sheriff's Office at 864-260-4400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
