Missing man last seen in Sept., deputies say

ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies said a man known to live in the Starr area has not been seen since September.

Anderson County deputies said the family of Tony McGinnis, 53, last spoke with him sometime during the summer but when they hadn't heard from by October, they called deputies.

Deputies determined they last spoke with him in early September, but he has not been seen or heard from since then.

Deputies said McGinnis was a vagrant and his family thought he stayed along Hicks Drive in Starr, but they did not have a steady address for him.

Anyone with information about McGinnis' whereabouts is asked to call the Anderson County Sheriff's Office at 864-260-4400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.

Missing man last seen in Sept., deputies say
