Good morning! We've got some dense fog around Lake Hartwell this morning, so use caution as you travel I-85 through the western Upstate and NE GA between now and 9 or 9:30. The rest of the area is already seeing sunny skies, and by this afternoon, all locations will enjoy sunshine and dry time.
The gloomy and very chilly weather may be gone, but temperatures will remain below-normal today. We'll rise into the low 60s in the Upstate and the mid 50s in the Mountains. Although those highs are cool, I do think the sunshine will make it more comfortable/manageable to be outside (especially compared to yesterday and Tuesday's weather!).
The rest of the week and weekend will bring sunshine, dry weather and mild temps. We'll be near-normal on Friday, and temperatures will be a bit above that mark on Saturday and Sunday. Rain chances - and storm chances, too - return early next week.
