SIMPSONVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Simpsonville police are investigating a bank robbery Thursday morning with the help of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Police said a man robbed the First Citizens Bank located at 636 Fairview Rd. at 9:14 a.m.

A black male entered the bank and demanded money from a teller, police said. They said he was last seen wearing baggy cargo pants with side pockets and a dark-colored leather jacket.

The unknown man left the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, and no weapon was shown, police said.
