Deputies: Nightclub security guard opens fire on car

Deputies respond to Club LaRoka on Pleasantburg Drive. (Nov. 9, 2012/FOX Carolina)

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville County deputies said they are investigating after a security guard fired at a car outside Club LaRoka on Pleasantburg Drive early Friday morning.

The security guard said the driver was trying to run him over around 3 a.m., so he shot at the car, according to deputies. Deputies said the windshield was shot out, but no one was hurt.

According to deputies, the driver was pulled over shortly after on Frontage Road near I-85 and taken in for questioning.
