Reports: NC boy who prompted Amber Alert found safe

DURHAM, NC (FOX Carolina) -

A missing 2-year-old North Carolina boy who prompted an Amber Alert on Monday evening was found safe, according to media reports.

Durham police said Kameron Hemby was last seen at 2507 S. Roxboro St.

WRAL-TV reported that Kameron's mother said she was talking to someone for a few minutes and then could not find the boy.

Kameron was found safe by volunteers who were searching for him in a nearby apartment building, according to WRAL-TV.
