GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Chef, restaurateur and television personality Paula Deen made a stop in the Upstate to help local food banks on Wednesday.
Deen was at the Super Bi-Lo at 101 Verdae Boulevard at 10 a.m.. FOX Carolina spoke with Deen on The Morning News as she made her way to Greenville.
She's teaming up with Bi-Lo to help stock local food banks for the upcoming holiday season for their Holiday Hunger Relief program.

Hundreds of fans lined up to see Deen and for the chance to win prizes at the event, including Paula Deen autographed cookbooks, a picture with her and Bi-Lo gift cards.
Bi-Lo's Holiday Hunger Relief program begins Nov. 14 and runs through Dec. 26 in all Bi-Lo stores. Customers can make a donation in increments of $1, $3 or $5 at check-out, which will be distributed to local food banks to purchase products in need by each pantry.
