HENDERSONVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Henderson County deputies said they are looking for five men who cashed checks that were stolen from several businesses.

Deputies said the checks were cashed at various branches of First Citizens Bank throughout the county. They said the same five men were seen on surveillance video at each of the branches. They said each of the men have used several different identification cards to cash the checks.

Investigators said the checks were stolen from construction companies, utility companies and food service vendors. They said the checks began being cashed in June.

Deputies said they believe the same men have cashed similar checks in Mitchell, Avery, Cherokee and Rutherford counties.

Anyone with information about the identities of the five men was asked to call the Henderson County Sheriff's Office at 828-694-2785.
