GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

While the ice cream maker churned, customers served up some cyber talk at Spill the Beans in Greenville Wednesday night.

"I don't really like the new feature," Lane Powers said.

The new feature he referred to is a Facebook feature for couples. And now that dating has gone from dialing digits to quick clicks on a computer, a Facebook user's status is being updated too.

"It shows how important their relationship is to them I guess," Powers said.

In order to get to the new couple's page, a user can type facebook.com/us. And if the user's relationship status is "married" or "in a relationship," a couple's page automatically pops up.

Maddy Longenecker is a Facebook user who's in a relationship, but she doesn't post her relationship status on the site.

"I think if you're in a relationship, it's between you and that person," Longenecker said.

The new feature creates the couple's page with posts and pictures tagged by the user and that special someone.

"I think if you want to do that with whoever you're dating on Facebook then you're sort of putting yourself out the to do that," Longenecker said.

While some users don't mind the new feature, others said the couple's creation is intrusive.

"I don't think that necessarily gives them the right to almost define your relationship by what you put on there," Nicholas Leonard said.

So, even if you're in love, staying cyber single could put the freeze on a Facebook couple's page. If you don't like the new couple's page, you can change it by using your adjusting your privacy settings.
