Travelers Rest police said they are looking for a woman after her mother discovered she was making methamphetamine at their home.
Police said Patricia Turnage's mother called them twice on Saturday after receiving a tip that Turnage was making meth in their garage apartment and she smelt something coming from her trash can. Turnage's mother told police that her 41-year-old daughter sometimes stayed in the apartment at their Grandview Drive home.
When police responded the first time, they said they did not find anything, but after the second call, they said they found several plastic bottles and tubes used to make meth.
Turnage's mother told police that she and a few other family members had bought Turnage Sudafed, but did not know she was using it to make the drug.
Police said when they searched the garage apartment, they found cups with small seedlings along with a pill bottle full of marijuana seeds.
Several arrest warrants were issued for Turnage, who is still at large as of Thursday morning. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Travelers Rest Police Department at 864-834-9029 or Crime Stoppers at 864-23-CRIME.
