Wet Weather to Start Thanksgiving Week: To be clear, there won't be any heavy rain, but expect some light rain (spotty) or drizzle to develop tonight into early Monday. Helping this rain develop, a northeast breeze will continue to funnel in cool temperatures as all towns settle back into the 40s overnight with some 30s in Western NC, especially west of Asheville.
Early on Monday, the rain will be spotty so you may or may not deal with wet roads where you live. But, there is the possibility for wet roads as you head out the door tomorrow. Temperatures won't warm up quickly with the clouds and spotty light rain or drizzle hanging around. 40s will be common during the morning. By afternoon, I expect 50s area-wide which means Monday will be a cool day from start to finish.
Sunshine Back - Travel Plans: We'll have a mix of sun and clouds on Tuesday. By Wednesday, the sun will be back and dry roads will be key. If you are doing any traveling on Wednesday for Thanksgiving you won't have any slow-downs due to rain.
Thanksgiving Forecast: Dry. Cold in the morning, but warmer in the afternoon with sun. Can't ask for much better conditions than that, can we?!
