Coroner: Travelers Rest man crushed to death by truck

TRAVELERS REST, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville County Coroner Barry Wright said a man was crushed to death Saturday while working on a truck.

Wright said 52-year-old Dennis McCombs, of Travelers Rest, was at his brother's house on Boone Road when the accident occurred.

Wright said McCombs had a truck raised on a jack when the jack collapsed. Wright said the truck fell on top of McCombs, killing him.

An autopsy is set for Monday.

The Greenville County Coroner's Office and the Greenville County Sheriff's Office are investigating.
