Deputies investigate Simpsonville armed robbery

SIMPSONVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville County deputies said someone robbed a Simpsonville store Sunday night.

Deputies said the robbery happened about 10 p.m. at the Dollar General store at 2310 W. Georgia Rd.

The man threatened employees then fled with cash, deputies said. Deputies have not yet released a description of the robber.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Greenville County Sheriff's Office or Crime Stoppers at 864-23-CRIME.
