BB gun found on Greenville Co. school bus

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A BB gun was found on a Greenville County school bus Monday afternoon, according to district spokesman Oby Lyles.

Lyles said a student saw the gun on the bus and texted his mother who, in turn, called school officials. He said the bus driver was told to stop in the parking lot of Wade Hampton High School, where officials conducted a search of the bus and found the BB gun.

Lyles said the student to whom the gun belonged was suspended and is being recommended for expulsion.
