CLINTON, SC (FOX Carolina) -
The suspect in a shooting at a Clinton restaurant on Monday night was arrested Tuesday evening, according to police.
The shooting happened about 10 p.m. at Pizza Hut on South Broad Street.
Police said 20-year-old Ladairous Franks, an employee of the restaurant, and another worker got into an argument. They said Franks shot his co-worker in the arm, and the bullet went into his back.
Franks ran into some nearby woods after the shooting, police said. They said Franks was not found during a search of the area.
According to Clinton Public Safety Interim Director Crystal Roberts, Franks turned himself in to authorities about 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The victim was expected to survive, police said.
Franks was charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and two weapons violations, Roberts said. She said Franks will have a bond hearing Wednesday morning.
