Deputies investigate a shooting at the Lake Stop Convenience Store in Inman. (Nov. 19, 2012/FOX Carolina)SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Deputies said a man closing up his Inman store Monday night was shot in the face by an unidentified assailant.
The victim called Spartanburg County deputies after he heard a boom then realized he had been hit with something in the face, near his eye.
Deputies said the incident happened about 11:15 p.m. at the Lake Stop Convenience Store on Compton Bridge Road.
Deputies said they believe a bullet grazed the man's face and he was treated for the injury at a local hospital.
No arrests have been made.
