Portland, OR (PRWEB) November 21, 2012
On December 6th and 7th, Alchemy Jeweler in The Pearl will host their 2nd Annual Holiday Trunk Show Benefit, featuring renowned designer Paula Crevoshay. A generous percentage of all sales will benefit New Avenues for Youth, an organization dedicated to ending youth homelessness in Portland.
“We are thrilled to be hosting this event again this year,” says David Iler, Owner of Alchemy and Master Metalsmith. “This organization is very near and dear to our hearts, and last year’s event was a huge success!”
Since 1997, New Avenues for Youth has offered programs and services that empower homeless youth to exit street life. Their mission is to work in partnership with the community to prevent youth homelessness and provide homeless and at-risk young people with the resources and skills needed to lead healthy, productive lives.
New Avenues for Youth offers food, shelter, and access to education, job training and more, to heal young lives and foster growth and independence. “New Avenues is humbled by the support from Alchemy Jewelers,” says Jessica Elkan, Director of Development and Communications at New Avenues. “Their support of our programs and services aimed at ending youth homelessness is making a critical difference.”
The Benefit and Trunk Show begins Thursday, December 6th with the Artist Presentation from 5-6pm, festive music and cocktails from 6-9pm, and concludes with the Trunk Show on Friday December 7th from 12-6pm. Paula Crevoshay’s one-of-a-kind, highly collectable work appears in The Smithsonian, The Carnegie, and fine Jewelers across the globe.
