Payton is a 10-to-12-week-old female lab mix who was rescued from a local shelter.
She was found as a stray and her time was up. Before being euthanized, Critter pulled her into foster care.
She is a big love bug. She's also very energetic, very playful and curious, loving all her toys. She enjoys playing with the other dogs and will attempt to chase cats. She is very smart and has learned a lot of her basic socialization training in a short time.
She's house trained, pretty much crate trained, walks well on a leash and usually comes when called.
She was extremely malnourished when she was rescued, but is gradually putting on needed weight. She has also been diagnosed with demodex mange, for which she is being treated. She is doing well with it and should have her fur back in no time.
