Man dies after he was shot week earlier

GREENWOOD, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The coroner said a Greenwood man has died a week after he was shot.

Tavaris Lester, 21, died Friday night at Self Regional Hospital, the coroner said. Lester was shot on Nov. 16.

The coroner said an autopsy will be performed in Anderson on Sunday.

Greenwood police are investigating the shooting.
