Good morning! A cold front is bringing some light rain back to the area today - but the key word is LIGHT. That dry air that had you reaching for chap stick/hand lotion yesterday has been replaced by dewpoints in the 30s and 40s for many, but it's still relatively dry outside. That's keeping the wet weather very light and scattered this morning.
We'll keep the chance of the scattered, light rain showers through the rest of the morning and into the early/mid-afternoon. By 3 PM, I expect most of the rain to be done in our area, with only an isolated shower possible through the late-afternoon. With the front off to our east by tonight, clouds will begin to clear out. Highs today will be near-normal (probably a degree or two below the mark), but behind the front the clouds will clear and temperatures will drop into the 30s area-wide overnight.
High pressure will settle in for the end of the week, meaning we've got a lot of sunshine on tap for the end of the week. Temperatures will warm to seasonal levels by Thursday and Friday - and the weekend will be even milder. Highs on Saturday and Sunday will be several degrees above-normal (mid 60s in the Upstate, around 60 degrees in WNC) with mostly dry conditions through the weekend.
