Two Upstate men were sentenced Monday to several years in prison for their roles in a 2011 fatal shooting and robbery.
Freddie Edwards, 21, pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted murder and four counts of armed robbery and Drakkar Crawford, 19, pleaded guilty to one count of attempted murder and four counts of armed robbery.
Solicitors said both men along with Fred Pearson, 20, were involved in the robbery and shooting of several men, including the death of Ronnie Lee Metcalf, 41.
Spartanburg County deputies found Metcalf's body outside of his Old Furnace Road home with multiple gunshot wounds to the back April 8, 2011.
Deputies said witnesses saw Metcalf and Edwards get in a fight along with two other armed men in Metcalf's driveway. Shots were fired, hitting one of the witnesses and Metcalf while the others were ordered to their knees and forced to empty their pockets at gunpoint, deputies said.
Edwards, Pearson and Crawford, all of Inman, were arrested in connection with the robbery and shooting. Collin J. Mills, 19, of Inman, was also charged as an accessory in the crime.
Pearson pleaded guilty to murder in February after admitting he shot Metcalf, He was sentenced to 40 years in prison and must serve his entire sentence before being eligible for parole.
Edwards was sentenced to 30 years in prison and Crawford was sentenced to 12 years in prison. Edwards and Crawford must serve at least 80 percent of their sentences before they are eligible for release.
