Deputies seek help in Candler homicide investigation

ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Buncombe County deputies are hoping someone can help them in their homicide investigation after a man was found dead in Candler.

Deputies are investigating the death of Thomas Reese, 29, of Florida. They said Reese had been in the Asheville area visiting and have spoken with witnesses who saw with companions in the west Asheville and Candler areas prior to his death.

Lt. Randy Sorrells of the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office said Reese's body was found about 11:45 a.m. on Friday at outside of a home on Carrion Lane off of Queen Road.

Anyone who saw or spoke with Reese is asked to call investigators at 828-250-4449 or Crime Stoppers at 828-255-5050.
