Clemson University forward Milton Jennings will not play in Wednesday's ACC/Big Ten Challenge game against Purdue.

Head Coach Brad Brownell said Jennings was suspended due to a violation of team rules.

A 13th Judicial Circuit court records search indicated Jennings was arrested by Clemson University Police on a possession of 1 ounce or less of marijuana first offense charge. The records show he was released on a $620 bond.

Jennings, who is a senior from Summerville, SC, is the Tigers' leading scorer this season, averaging 10.8 points per game, and is their second-leading rebounder, averaging 5.6 rebounds per game.

The Tigers are 4-1 so far this season. Tip-off for the Purdue game is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. in Clemson. Their next game is Sunday at noon in Columbia against the Gamecocks.

FOX Carolina is working to contact CUPD and Clemson Athletics for more information about the arrest. Stay with FOX Carolina and for the latest information in this developing story.
