2 students injured in Anderson Co. bus crash

ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Two students were injured in a school bus crash in Anderson County on Thursday afternoon.

The two-vehicle crash happened about 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of state Highway 81 and Vandiver Road.

Troopers said the bus was turning left onto the highway in front of an oncoming vehicle and was struck.

The two students were taken to AnMed Health for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the bus was charged with failure to yield the right of way.
