Attempted burglary in Piedmont sparks shooting

PIEDMONT, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies in Greenville said a shooting broke out after an attempted burglary in Piedmont on Thursday night.

Deputies said a man came home and found two burglars in his home on Oakvale Drive.

The homeowner said shots were fired.

Deputies said the burglar was spotted down the street at a gas station, trying to sell a laptop that was stolen from the home.
