NINETY SIX, SC (FOX Carolina) -
A Ninety Six man was killed in a crash in Greenwood County early Saturday morning.
The two-vehicle crash happened about 6 a.m. near the intersection of state Highway 34 and Lebanon Church Road.
Troopers said one vehicle was heading west on the highway and a second vehicle was heading east. They said the second vehicle crossed the center line and hit the first vehicle.
The Greenwood County Coroner's Office said 23-year-old Keytorious Wideman, who troopers said was driving the second vehicle, was extricated from the vehicle and taken to Self Regional Hospital for treatment, where he later died.
Wideman was not wearing a seat belt, investigators said.
The driver of the second vehicle was injured in the crash, troopers said. He was being treated for those injuries at Self Regional Hospital.
