Two Highway Patrol vehicles block off Jackson Grove Road after a fatal crash. (Dec. 1, 2012/FOX Carolina)
GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -
One person was killed in a crash in Greenville County early Saturday morning.
The single-vehicle crash happened about 6:50 a.m. near the intersection of Jackson Grove Road and Jackson Hollow Trail.
Troopers said the vehicle was traveling east on Jackson Grove Road when the driver ran off the left side of the road, hit a ditch and the vehicle flipped. They said the driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle.
The identity of the driver, who troopers said died at the scene, was not immediately released.
