GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Thousands of people flocked to downtown Greenville on Saturday night for the annual Greenville Poinsettia Christmas Parade.
The event has been a tradition to mark the start of the holiday season in the area for more than 20 years.

The fun began when Mayor Knox White lit the Christmas tree in front of City Hall. Then the festive floats, bands and groups took to Main Street.
A group from FOX Carolina, including some of the on-air favorites, marched in the parade.
