Deputies respond to a shooting at the Boulder Creek Apartments complex Sunday night. (Dec. 2, 2012/FOX Carolina)
GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Greenville County deputies are investigating a shooting that left one person injured Sunday night.
Deputies said a man was shot multiple times at the Boulder Creek Apartments on Furman Hall Road in Greenville.
Deputies said the victim was alert and talking when they arrived and told them that about 8:15 p.m., someone knocked on his door and when he answered it, they started shooting at him.
Deputies said the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He was unable to provide them with a description.
Deputies said a white Ford Crown Victoria with dark-tinted windows was seen leaving the complex just after shots were fired and a passenger in the vehicle fired shots into the air as it as pulling away.
Investigators ask anyone with information on the shooting to call the sheriff's office at 864-271-5210 or Crime Stoppers at 864-23-CRIME.
