SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Wofford opened their play in the Football Championship Subdivision second round playoffs with a win over New Hampshire on Saturday 23-7.
Eric Breitenstein ran for three touchdowns and 247 yards. Breitenstein broke free for a 54-yard touchdown run on the Terriers' first possession and Wofford's defense kept the Wildcats out of sync.
A 26-yard burst in the third quarter, sealed the win for the Terriers.
Wofford will travel to Fargo, ND, for the quarterfinal match-up against North Dakota State University at the Fargodome. NDSU beat South Dakota State University 28-3 Saturday.
Game time is set for 3 p.m. ET. The NDSU Bison are defending FCS champions.
