Today we have reached the low 70s in the Upstate and near 70 in the mountains. Typically our high temps are in the 50s area-wide!! We'll get back to that "normal" high by later this week.
A cold front is positioned across the central plains and will get close to us tomorrow. We'll notice moisture increasing tonight and tomorrow, which will lead to morning fog Tuesday and some clouds through the day. Showers move in Tuesday night for the mountains and during the day Wednesday for the Upstate. It won't be a lot, but could get up to 0.25".
We clear out and cool down for Thursday! Highs will only make the 50s then. A quick rebound is in store for the weekend as 60s and near 70 degree readings return.
Next week a stronger system approaches, which would bring us a rumble of thunder next Monday or Tuesday.
On a personal note, I had a great doctor's appt. today! Our little girl is healthy and strong, and is in the 62nd percentile in size. Can't wait to meet her, and thanks to you all for your kind words, thoughts and prayers through this special time for us!
