Pair gets 30 years for Anderson Co. homicide

ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Two men were each sentenced to 30 years in prison for shooting a man to death at an Anderson County apartment complex last year.

Prosecutors said that Lorenzo Sullivan and Jason Sanford pleaded guilty to murder in the May 27, 2011, death of Rashaun Williams.

Investigators said that Sullivan and Sanford hid behind a building at Meadowrun Apartments, and as Williams was leaving the apartment complex on his motorcycle, the pair chased him, firing shots as they ran.

Prosecutors said witnesses at the apartment complex identified Sullivan and Sanford as the shooters.
