Jamel Brown (Clemson Police Dept.)
CLEMSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Clemson police said the man named as a suspect in the robbery of a pizza delivery man last month turned himself in to authorities Wednesday.
Investigators said the victim was delivering a pizza to a home on Lincoln Drive on the morning of Nov. 11 and when he got out of his car, two armed men approached him. The men stole the victim's cash, wallet and other electronics before fleeing, police said.
About two weeks later, police named 21-year-old Jamel Brown as a suspect in the case.
Brown turned himself in Wednesday, and is being held in jail until his bond hearing Thursday morning, police said.
The second man was described by police as black, with a very thin build, wearing a bandana on his face. Investigators said they are still looking for this man.
Anyone with information about the robbery was asked to call the Clemson Police Department at 864-624-2000.
