SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Crews battled a fire at the old Saxon Mill in Spartanburg County on Saturday night.
It is a vacant, non-functioning textile mill. Officials said the mill has caught fire numerous times in the past several years.
Authorities received calls from neighbors about 9:47 p.m. that the mill was on fire Saturday.
One-hundred firefighters from 12 different fire departments are working to put out the blaze.
An official cause of the fire hasn't been determined.
"Normally crews can't get in to do anything until its cooled off, it's going to be a lengthy process," said Doug Bryson, coordinator of the Spartanburg County Office of Emergency Management.
No evacuations have been ordered and there have been no reports of injuries.
