GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Deputies said they have located 77-year-old Charles "Charlie" Powers, who was last seen Saturday, after troopers spotted him in western North Carolina on Monday.
Powers was last seen Saturday at a convenience store on White Horse Road in Greenville and deputies believed Powers was possibly headed towards the Pigeon Forge, TN, area or a mountain area within the region.
Deputies said Powers suffers from Alzheimer's and other medical issues which require medication.
North Carolina Highway Patrol spotted Powers about noon on Monday on Interstate 26 near Hendersonville. Deputies said he was taken to a local hospital for precaution.
