CLEMSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Clemson University student spent Sunday night in jail after campus police said he exploded multiple dry-ice bombs on campus.

Clemson University police were called to Thornhill Village after students reported hearing gunshots that turned out to be dry-ice explosions.

Police said Kaleb Williams, 21, a junior from Woodruff, was charged with manufacture and use of a destructive device, a felony. They said he set off three of the dry-ice bombs.

Officers said Williams was arrested at 10:30 p.m. Sunday and was released Monday on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.
