HP: Student injured in Oconee Co. bus crash

WESTMINSTER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Troopers said a student was injured when a school bus rolled over near Westminster Monday afternoon.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said a bus carrying 15 students was headed north on Pond Road when it got too close to the right shoulder, causing the bus to rollover.

Troopers said one student was injured and taken to Oconee Memorial Hospital. The driver was not injured.

FOX Carolina has contacted School District of Oconee County officials for more information about the crash.

Troopers are investigating the crash and said no charges have been filed.
