CLEMSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Clemson wide receiver Martavis Bryant was suspended for the Tigers' upcoming bowl game against Louisiana State University.
Clemson head football coach Dabo Swinney said Tuesday that the sophomore was banned from playing in the game for academic reasons.
Bryant had 10 receptions for 305 yards and four touchdowns in his 10 games. He also leads the nation in yards per reception among players with at least 10 receptions.
The Clemson Tigers take on the LSU Tigers in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl on Dec. 31 in Atlanta.
