SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -
A Spartanburg man was sentenced to life in prison Wednesday for killing another man last year.
Keith Letmon, 38, was convicted of murder at the end of a three-day trial.
Investigators said that on July 25, 2011, Letmon shot 27-year-old Cedric Moss to death. They said police found Moss' body lying in the front yard of a home on Norris Street. Letmon was arrested three months later at a motel, investigators said.
Letmon's 18-year-long criminal record includes convictions for robbery, criminal domestic violence, failure to stop for a blue light, providing false information to police and discharging a firearm.
Letmon is not eligible for parole.
