Floyd Logan VI (Asheville Police Dept.)
ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -
Asheville police arrested a man wanted in connection with a child's death in Virginia on Friday.
Police said that 35-year-old Floyd Logan VI was named as a suspect in the death of a 16-month-old girl in Chesapeake, VA, on Aug. 15.
Authorities said that on Friday they received information that Logan was in the Asheville area. They said officers and U.S. Marshals, acting on that information, arrested Logan at his girlfriend's house on Jeffress Avenue.
Logan was being held in jail on a fugitive warrant, police said.
