Pedestrian killed while walking in Mauldin

MAULDIN, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville County Coroner Jeff Fowler said a man is dead after getting hit by a car while walking on a road in Mauldin on Monday.

A witness told FOX Carolina the man was walking in the middle of Ashmore Bridge Road.

Fowler said the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Coroner's Office identified the pedestrian at Jamie Rosemond, 25, of Greenville. The coroner said he died from blunt force trauma and said his death was accidental.
