INMAN, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Deputies said a man was airlifted to a local hospital after he was shot in the stomach accidentally on Tuesday.
Spartanburg County deputies said a man was cleaning a .32 caliber revolver at a home on Wilkie Bridge Road when the gun accidentally discharged, hitting him in the finger and striking his son-in-law in the stomach.
The son-in-law was flown to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries while the other man was driven to the hospital in a private car, deputies said.
Investigators ruled the shooting accidental and said no charges will be filed.
